The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned Nigerian security agencies to increase surveillance and deployment of troops to specific states, claiming terrorists are preparing heavy attacks.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele urged the military to focus attention on Nasarawa, Abuja, Ondo, Kaduna, Sokoto, Benue, Katsina and Yobe, stressing that failure to act quickly could trigger a crisis capable of spreading across the country.
He warned that insecurity may be used as a weapon against President Bola Tinubu’s administration if immediate action is not taken. According to him, “They will use insecurity to fight his government. He must take security seriously because the army will face more attacks.”
Ayodele also predicted that the United States may intervene if Nigeria’s security system fails to respond decisively, but described such foreign involvement as shameful.
He said, “America is prepared to assist, but it will be a disgraceful operation. If our army fails to do what is necessary, America will step in, and it will weaken Nigeria’s soldiers. This will affect everything concerning Tinubu.”
The cleric added that if urgent military strategies are not implemented, the situation could escalate, affecting top military officers and causing deeper security instability nationwide.
