Crossdresser Bobrisky has criticised Nigerians who have turned against luxury shopper KC Luxury following his arrest by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency over an alleged cocaine case involving substances reportedly valued at N39 billion.
Drivetvnews gathered that Bobrisky expressed his views on social media, accusing some Nigerians of hypocrisy for praising KC Luxury when he was successful but publicly criticising him after his arrest.
He argued that some people who previously associated closely with the luxury shopper and celebrated his lifestyle had quickly distanced themselves following the allegations against him.
Bobrisky also suggested that envy may have influenced some of the reactions, questioning why people who previously admired KC Luxury were now openly condemning him.
Although he clarified that he was not a friend of the arrested socialite, Bobrisky said he would not abandon a close friend simply because the person was accused of wrongdoing.
He explained that he could condemn a friend’s alleged actions while still offering personal support, stressing that the two positions were not necessarily contradictory.
Bobrisky further criticised individuals who he claimed were now denying their relationships with KC Luxury following his arrest.
According to him, people who genuinely considered the luxury shopper a friend should not immediately distance themselves because of the allegations surrounding his case.
The crossdresser maintained that people who had no personal relationship with KC Luxury could criticise the allegations, but argued that his close associates should show greater loyalty while allowing the legal process to take its course.
KC Luxury was recently arrested by the NDLEA in connection with an alleged cocaine consignment reportedly valued at N39 billion.
