In different parts of Lagos, people had to wait a long time at gas stations because there wasn’t enough fuel. This made it hard for drivers to fill up their cars. Also, there weren’t many buses on the roads, so getting around was tough for commuters. Some students and parents had to walk because they couldn’t find buses. A businessman named Kingsley Udeh had to walk a far distance to reach his shop because there were no buses. He felt really annoyed about it. Another lady, Mrs. Shade Agboola, had a hard time getting her kids to school and going to work because there weren’t enough buses, and the fares were higher than usual. People like Mrs. Maureen Uzochukwu said the government should do something to help because the situation was causing a lot of problems for everyone. A man named Mr. Francis Obiechina said he had to pay more money than usual to get to work, and it was difficult for him. Even though the government said they fixed the problem with fuel, there were still long lines at gas stations. The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) said it might take a couple of weeks for things to get back to normal.
