The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested Bulus Danladi, a suspected human trafficker. ASP Mansir Hassan, the Command’s spokesman, affirmed the arrest to reporters on Sunday in Kaduna.
“On March 1, at approximately 0900hrs, Mrs. Jummai Danjuma and two others filed a complaint in the Katari area of Kachia Local Government Area of the state. They reported that on February 27, the apprehended suspect, Bulus Danladi from Ankwa area in Kachia LGA, transported five youths from Katari to Eruku in Kwara State with the intention of employing them in a factory. Upon arrival, the suspect took the youths to a farm in Eruku where he abandoned them and returned to Katari,” Hassan stated.
Hassan mentioned that out of the five youths trafficked to Kwara, three have returned home and reunited with their families. He also mentioned that efforts to locate the remaining two were ongoing, emphasizing that the suspect would face prosecution following a thorough investigation.
