Nigerian music artist and record label owner Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, recently expressed his frustrations regarding his wife amidst ongoing drama involving his ex-girlfriend.
It is worth recalling that Portable and his former girlfriend, Queen Dami—who was previously married to the late Alaafin of Oyo—engaged in a heated public feud on social media, exposing their personal issues.
A few weeks later, Queen Dami returned online with a message addressing critics and relationship advisers, suggesting that she had reconciled with the singer. However, shortly after, concerns arose when her friend revealed that she had fainted following online trolling by her former best friend.
In response to these events, Portable turned his attention to his wife, Bewaji, accusing her of neglecting him emotionally and spiritually. He lamented to his followers on social media, claiming that she no longer prayed for him or showed him the love and support he needed, which, according to him, was driving him to seek affection elsewhere.
“Everybody is cursing me and saying bad things about me. Help me ask my wife why she no longer prays for me. Why does she make me feel empty while she’s under me? She doesn’t post about me anymore,” Portable said.
He further added, “She isn’t happy with me anymore and doesn’t appreciate everything I do. Help me ask her where she stands. I can’t fear God and still fear a woman. If you don’t show me love, why wouldn’t I look elsewhere? All women are blessings, so value those who value you.”
