Nigerian music sensation Ahmed Ololade, widely known as Asake, has pledged to buy a house for his father, Fatai Odunsi, and cover his medical expenses.

This development follows recent claims by Odunsi that Asake had abandoned him since his health began to decline in 2022. Odunsi, who has been battling a stroke, alleged that despite his son’s wealth and success, he had not received financial support.

However, in a video released on Sunday, Odunsi confirmed that Asake has now reached out to him.

Speaking in Yoruba, he expressed pride in his son and offered prayers for him. He explained that his public outcry stemmed from not seeing Asake for a long time.

“My frustration was that his mother should have asked him when last he saw me. That was what upset me, but we have resolved everything now. There is no more conflict,” Odunsi stated.

He further revealed that Asake has instructed real estate agents to find him a new home. “Asake has assured me that he will fulfill all my needs. Everything has been settled, and they are currently searching for a house he will buy for me,” he added.

Additionally, Odunsi confirmed that Asake has taken full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.

“He has never denied his child, but now he has promised to take full responsibility for her,” Odunsi said.

He also mentioned that he would be visiting the hospital the following day, as Asake had sent the necessary funds for his medical treatment.
