Akintoye Benson, an aide to Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, chairman of the Lagos Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, has tragically passed away. Benson was reportedly involved in a fatal auto crash on Thursday night on the Third Mainland Bridge, as seen in a viral video showing a wrecked vehicle.
Confirming his demise, a friend named Ogunseye Vincent expressed shock and described Benson as a vibrant man with lofty aspirations. Vincent took to Facebook to pay tribute to Benson, expressing sorrow over his untimely passing and offering prayers for his soul to find peace in eternity.
Benson, who served as the chairman of the Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria (TOOAN) Zone H, leaves behind a legacy of dedication to his work and community.
Efforts to contact Akinsanya for a statement were unsuccessful as his phone was unreachable at the time of reporting.
