Nigerian musician Keshinro Ololade, widely known as Lil Kesh, has assured his fans that he is safe and recovering after reports alleged he was attacked, robbed, and stabbed in Lagos.
According to multiple reports on Wednesday, the Shoki hitmaker was assaulted by unknown assailants, who allegedly made away with jewelry valued in millions of naira.
Hip TV reported that the singer sustained a neck injury during the incident.
Addressing the situation on Thursday via X (formerly Twitter), Lil Kesh wrote:
“Life threw me a curveball, but I’m safe, healing, and blessed to be here. Grateful for the love, support, and prayers.”
The news prompted an outpouring of concern from fans and fellow artists, who have continued to send messages of support and goodwill.
Authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the alleged robbery.
