Veteran Nollywood actor Yemi Solade has recounted an unusual experience from his younger years, claiming that he was once paid to participate in a staged miracle at a church.
Solade made the disclosure during an interview with Feel Right News TV published on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
According to the actor, the incident happened while he was still a student and had yet to gain recognition in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
He said he was approached to pretend to have a physical disability as part of a purported healing session. Solade revealed that he accepted the payment and later spent the money on drinks.
The actor said the people allegedly involved in the incident are still alive but declined to reveal their identities.
He explained that he chose not to mention the names publicly despite remembering the incident.
Solade’s revelation has generated interest because of his claim that he participated in the alleged staged miracle before becoming a well-known actor.
