Former Manager Refutes Death Rumors Surrounding Mr Ibu, Reveals Ongoing Health Struggles

Contrary to widespread rumors circulating on social media, veteran actor Mr Ibu, also known as John Okafor, is alive and currently battling health issues. Chochoo, Mr Ibu’s former manager, clarified in an interview with Daily Trust that the actor is not deceased, but rather, he is unwell and scheduled for surgery either on Saturday or early Sunday morning.

According to Chochoo, false reports of Mr Ibu’s demise have been surfacing online for the past two months. He emphasized the disparity between online rumors and the reality of Mr Ibu’s condition, stating that despite the online claims, the actor is very much alive offline.

Addressing concerns about potential amputation due to diabetes-related complications, Chochoo clarified that only two toes are affected and may require removal. These toes have deteriorated due to the illness, leading to the necessity of the surgical procedure. He highlighted that the decision to amputate was based on medical advice to prevent the further spread of the illness.

In summary, Mr Ibu’s former manager debunked the death rumors, revealing the actor’s ongoing battle with health challenges, primarily related to diabetes, and the upcoming surgery to address the specific affected areas.
