The Oyo State Police Command has arrested 10 suspected members of a syndicate allegedly dealing in human body parts.
Drivetvnews gathered that the suspects were reportedly arrested at separate hideouts in Iseyin and Saki after months of intelligence gathering and discreet surveillance by police operatives.
During searches of the locations, investigators reportedly recovered suspected human remains, including a heart, human flesh and pieces of a human skull, as well as assorted charms.
Police spokesman DSP Olayinka Ayanlade said the recovered exhibits had been secured for forensic analysis, while the suspects were helping investigators trace their source and intended use.
The command said investigations remain ongoing, with efforts underway to apprehend other suspected members of the alleged syndicate.
